Ati Bachtiar has been an intermediate-certified photographer and photography assessor since 2017. A graduate of French Language and Literature Studies at Padjadjaran University, she has been named Canon Indonesia's Srikandi of Indonesian Photography (2016-2018) and won the CSR Indonesia Award 2022 in the category of Cultural Preservation.

Some of her works are documented in books such as Long Ears Reveals the Hidden (2016), Traces of Long Ears Steps (2019), Tracing the Footsteps of Long Ears (2023) and the solo exhibition Long Ears Through the Lens cultural mission in The Hague (2024).
